The power plant is supplied and erected by a Chinese EPC contractor.

Investigations with respect to operate each of 2 coal-fired steam generators with one of three coal mills. Each steam generator is provided with 3 burner levels, 4 burner on each level are arranged as corner firing.

Tasks: Thermodynamic calculations by using an own boiler calculation program to find out the technical minimum load by operating 1 mill, however solely in each burner level. Furthermore, the of the water steam cycle characteristics were observed and evaluated. The required measures regarding a one mill operation without oil firing were describe in a final report.
