Design for a total power plant capacity of finally 3.600MWel, comprising:

  • In total 14 Gas Turbines, each 170 MWel

  • In total 14 Heat Recovery Steam Generators

  • In total  7 Steam Turbines, each 165 MWel

    Main Fuel is local Natural Gas. Future use of light diesel oil is possible.

The cooling of the exhaust steam is provided by Air Cooled Condensers (ACC) as well as by wet cell type cooling towers.

Tasks: Local office and home office engineering works and design review as well as technical support and consultancy during tendering, technical evaluation of EPC contractor’s design and construction documents up to commercial operation. Additional 10 weeks at construction site as trouble shooter regarding support and gap findings in the final stage of the erection and commissioning activities.

Project description:

Start-up optimisation of a 19 years old combined cycle power plant (CCPP) with respect to life time fatigue of the critical pressure parts and optimization of the purging requirements for a nowadays CCPP. Reason: fast availability requirements for power production with respect to the compliance of changed market conditions.

Tasks: Thermodynamic and stress calculations to find out the targets for fast start-up operations.

Project description:

Technical Due Diligence (TDD) of 50 MWe solar power project to investigate the feasibility of the Project for participation by STEAG with equity as well as to perform the operation and maintenance works by STEAG. All parts and equipment was already procured and ready for installation.

Tasks: Technical Due Diligence (TDD) regarding experience of operation of a comparable solar power plant as well as expediting of the already supplied equipment and material.
