Project description:

Investigations of coal fired power plant, operating in lowest possible loads. Target was down to 10 to 15% electrical output.

Reason: Renewable power plants gets the preference for operation instead coal fired units.

Tasks: Evaluation of design and operation data to develop measures with respect to reach a possible technical minimum plant load of the respective location. Edition of a final report.

Shijiazhuang and Shang An, China

Project description:

Shijiazhuang plant is divided in 2 parts:

East section, there are two CFB boilers and one Slag tap boiler with one wet limestone FGD system.

In West section, there are 4 CFB boilers (410t/h each) with 4 wet limestone FGD systems.

Shang An comprises follow power blocks:

two 350MWel (Stage 1), two 320MWel (Stage 2) +two 620MWel (stage 3) – all provided with wet limestone FGD systems.

Project description:

Existing bituminous coal fired power 160 MWel with reheat including all respective power plant facilities of Paipa power plant. Special feature: Location approximate 2,000m above sea level.

Tasks: Technical development of an additional coal-fired power plant 165 MWel;, for implementation to the existing Paipa, Colombia.
