Tasks:	Technical Due Diligence (TDD) regarding experience of operation of a comparable solar power plant as well as expediting of the already supplied equipment and material.

Project description:	Evaluation during tendering for two kinds of lignite fired power plant technologies, proposed by 2 EPC contractors namely 1 x 500 MW_el unit with CFB boiler 1 x 500 MW_el unit with PC boilers Evaluation during tendering for two kinds of lignite fired power plant technologies, proposed by 2 EPC contractors namely 1 x 500 MW_el unit with CFB boiler 1 x 500 MW_el unit with PC boilers
Tasks:	Engineering and design review of the proposals as well as technical support, consultancy and evaluation of the EPC contractors during tendering.

Project description:	New CCPP for Niehl 3 in Cologne. Two GT classes was in Owners focus, namely one bidder proposed a 480 MWel CCPP, the other proposed a 600 MWel CCPP. Requirement: a net efficiency > 61%. Including 8 km 380 kV-cable system through downtown Cologne 110 kV station as well as a district heat transfer station and a district heat piping.
